The easiest way is to fly to Malaga and then either take a bus, taxi or rent a car. We personally prefer a car as the price for a taxi roundtrip is often at least as high as the price of a rental car if you stay for a week. A number of airlines fly to Malaga.
The easiest way is to use Google Earth and search for Calle San Francisco 42, Nerja. Otherwise, Google Maps works well too. Satellite images from Google Earth are also available under Contact (at the bottom) on this website.
After ten years in Nerja we can only give one piece of advice: Use malagacar.com and full insurance. We had some issues the first couple of years but none since we started using them. They only do fully insured now and prices are good, 20-25 Euros a day
In order for the registration to be binding, a 25% deposit is required, with the remainder due no later than one month before arrival. In the event of cancellation, the deposit is not refundable, although it may be possible to change to another week depending on availability.
The apartment is located in the urbanization San Juan de Capistrano, San Francisco area:

Outside the door there is a key cabinet with a combination lock, a few days before access you will receive a code. You can park above or below the apartment.
The bus (Linnea 1) runs every quarter of an hour from below the La Parra restaurant or outside the office by the pool area. It rarely comes on time but keeps a decent schedule, costs one euro in cash. The bus goes to Burriana beach on certain departures, check the timetable at the stops. The bus then continues towards the city and goes all the way to Torrecilla which is another beach, you have to try your hand at it. We don't usually take the bus home but that is of course also possible. If there are a few of you, you can almost as well take a taxi. From the city center to home it usually costs between 8and 10 euros.
Most places take cards but it is still some places that only accept cash. When it comes to withdrawing with Swedish cards at ATMs, the withdrawal fees differ but the most important thing is to always (even when buying by card) choose to debit in the local currency, i.e. euros. Then you get the exchange rate that the issuer of the card has, if you choose Swedish kronor for example, the company that owns the ATM can set an arbitrary exchange rate and it is often expensive. Always choose euros is the summary.
