In case of emergency. SOS - Alarm number: 112. Police report (also in English): 902 102 112. Local police (Policía local): Almuñécar: 958 639 439. Nerja: 952 521 545
We ourselves have not had the need to visit a hospital, however, we have received the following input from one of our guests.
"The hospital is called Centro de Salud. It is located at the intersection of Calle Zuloaga and Carlos Million. The hospital has emergency admissions and is therefore also open on weekends. The pharmacy is located at the same intersection. Maria was well received, but there were few who spoke English.
If you bring your passport and EU card from the social security fund, it is free"
EU cards can be ordered from here and are free (Swedes only);
